Partner David Van Gilder Joins Indiana Bar Foundation Board
Fletcher Van Gilder LLP is honored to announce that partner David Van Gilder has been approved as a new board member of the Indiana Bar Foundation.
Fletcher Van Gilder LLP is pleased to announce that Audrey Van Gilder has joined the firm as an attorney. Audrey is a Fort Wayne native and the daughter of partner David Van Gilder. After graduating from Carroll High School, she earned a B.A. in international studies from American University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
During law school, Audrey participated in Loyola’s Rome Summer Program with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and interned at Portolano Cavallo law firm in Rome. In college she studied for a year at Sciences Po in Paris, and in high school she was a Rotary youth exchange student in Johannesburg.
Most recently, she was a judicial clerk for Indiana Court of Appeals Judge Paul Mathias and a special education teacher at ReNEW Schools in New Orleans.
“We welcome the diverse legal background and international experience that Audrey brings to our firm,” said partner Timothy Manges. “Her clerkship with the Indiana Court of Appeals honed her research and writing skills and provided her with practical knowledge of Indiana legal systems.”
At Fletcher Van Gilder, Audrey joins David Van Gilder, David E. Bailey, Kathryn A. Brogan, Anne Carney, James P. Fenton, Timothy A. Manges, Daniel G. McNamara and Lindsay Davenport Solon. She will assist the firm in practice areas including appeals; business formation and transactions; commercial and business litigation; estate planning; family law matters; mediation; municipal law; personal injury; probate; and Social Security disability.
